Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 17e, the most affordable model in its new 17 series lineup. With this launch, Apple has now completed the iPhone 17 lineup. The device starts at $599 for the 256GB base variant and $799 for the higher storage option. It will be available globally in more than 70 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, and several European markets.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17e begin at 7:45 PM on March 4, while official sales will start on March 11.
The iPhone 17e features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 1200 nits peak brightness and Ceramic Shield 2 protection. Powered by Apple’s new A19 chipset built on a 3nm process, Apple claims the CPU is twice as fast as the iPhone 11 and supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing for gaming. It also includes a 48MP Fusion rear camera with 2x optical-quality zoom, USB-C charging, MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging support, and runs on iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence features such as live translation and call screening.
