Mahindra XEV 9e Cinelux Edition Unveiled with 500km Range and Triple-Screen Cabin

New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled a new version of its popular electric SUV, the Mahindra XEV 9e Cinelux Edition, in India on March 2. The SUV is powered by a 79 kWh BYD Blade LFP battery pack paired with a 282 bhp / 380 Nm electric motor. With this setup, the company claims a driving range of up to 500 km on a full charge.

The Mahindra XEV 9e Cinelux Edition is priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings now open and deliveries scheduled to begin from March 10, 2026. The new special edition is positioned between the 59 kWh variant priced at ₹28.65 lakh and the top-end 79 kWh variant priced at ₹31.25 lakh. For charging, customers can opt to purchase a 7.2 kW AC charger for ₹50,000 or an 11 kW AC charger for ₹75,000 separately. The Mahindra XEV 9e competes with rivals such as the Tata Harrier EV and the BYD Atto 3 in the Indian electric SUV market.
